CDL Ready Mix Truck Driver

S.B. Cox Ready Mix is one of the areas largest Ready-Mix producers in Richmond VA and has been in the Richmond market for over 20 years.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently deliver concrete to our customers
• Provide excellent customer service
• Communicate with customers
• Follow state and federal rules and regulations
• Keep mixer truck’s interior and exterior clean up to the standards established by the company.
• Come to work looking presentable following company policy
• Communicate with maintenance and dispatch personnel to keep on schedule
• Pre-trip inspection of mixer truck each morning and throughout the day
• Efficient and effective loading and delivering of ready mix products
• Ability to understand the delivery of perishable products
• Ability to Lift and clean chute extensions

Qualifications:

• Class A or B Virginia Commercial Drivers License
• Ability to keep valid and safe driving record
• Professional attitude and consistently listen to needs of customer
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to climb in and out of truck cab
• Ability to climb up and down ladder on truck
• Must have ability to keep Mixer truck interior and exterior clean
• Punctuality and the flexibility to work overtime, rotating shifts and Saturdays
• Problem solving in a fast pace and ever changing environment
